My grandfather Stjepan Bačvar born July 11 1904 Potok bosijevo bosijevski Croatia immigration to Canada March 27 1926 at the age of 22 years old I never got to meet him from what I have been told he was very grateful for what he had treated his children gracious hardworking person new 7 languages please any information is appreciated thank you kindly 🇨🇦🇭🇷

I definitely suggest contacting the archives (especially the Croatian State Archives, since they have birth records) and asking them for a copy of your grandfather's birth record, etc. If they have the records, it should be easy for them to find, as Potok is a tiny settlement (online it says it recently had a population of 5), and Bosiljevo currently had a population of 1,284 in the year 2011.
