Can someone read a census and tell me the relationship of the 21 year old to the 81 year old?
Mads Christensen LH8J-H14 is in the 1834 Census with Mette Bentsdatter (21) and Mads Christian (19). I would like to know the relationship. I can not read what it says on the census. Thank you

@LaVona Lewis Mette Bentsdatter and Mads Christian are tjenestefolk, (servants) of Mads Christensen. Both are unmarried.

Mads Christensen 82 is a widower and belong to the family, most likely the father of the head of household. Mette Bentsdatter is a servant girl working for the family. Mads Christensen is also a servant working for the family.
