My grandmother Anna (unwed to father) had a child 9/02/1906 and she declared by written affidavit by Joe George Pinter a shoemaker in Somogy, Hungary. IGI at Family Search in Salt Lake Family History Library states Joe George's birth (or baptism) in 1881 and gives his parents and witnesses. Anna was born in 1889 in Somogy. Names given as witnesses appear in my genealogical collection of names. No connection is wanted except for genealogical records. Can someone please step up with information?

It's very, very difficult to help when you haven't even given us the most basic information, such as your grandmother's surname.

For whatever it's worth, there was no birth registered in Somogyharságy as occurring on 2 Sep 1906. Nor on 9 Feb 1906. Or not in a timely fashion (i.e. less than three months after the birth).
