Translation of birth certificate
I recently received a packet of documents for my Italian heritage. I am still learning to read Italian and need some assistance. Someone translated my grandfather's birth certificate in an early post. I am hoping for assistance with my great grandfather's birth certificate.
Please translate this for me

Birth record - Number 72 – Gennaro Caterina de Simone (born on 12 Dec 1862)
In 1862, on 13 December, at 4 pm, in front of us, Giacinto Ferrari, mayor and civil reg. official of Sammango (today’s San Mango), Catanzaro province,
appeared Giovanni Caterina de Simone, son of Nicola, 36 years old, laborer, residing in Sammango, who showed us a (male) child that we visually inspected/recognized, and he declared that the same [the child] was born of Elena Manfredi, 30 years old, residing in Sammango, and of Giovanni Caterina di Simone himself, laborer, residing as shown above, on the 12th of the same month [December] at 9 o’clock, in his own house.
The same [Giovanni] also declared to name the child Gennaro Caterina de Simone.
Note on the right: Gennaro Caterina de Simone was baptized on 14th Dec of the same year.

Thank you so much for the translation. And thank you for pointing out San Mango was originally Sammango. The original document I was going from had Sammango listed (in handwriting) as the hometown, and it took me a while to read. I was guessing it read San Mango, but now I know.
