I found a record on FS regarding the birth of Anna Catharina Soenniken (varied spellings). the records states, info came from "Germany, Select Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898," FHL microfilm no. 591295. Is it possible to access the film?

Anna was born 1Oct 1704, baptized and recorded Evang, Meinerzhagen, Westfalen, Prussia. Her father is listed in the record found on FS as Johannes Soennecken.

Thanks, Bonnie Samuel

    Hi Bonnie,

If you go to the home page by clicking on the tree above there is a search button. After you click on search you'll get choices. Click on Catalog.

After you click Catalog you'll get another page. Click on the blue film/fiche/image.. line and a space will open to enter the film number.

Click on the blue search button. You'll get this page.

Click on Kirchenbuch and you'll get this page:

You'll see film 591295 listed first with a magnifying glass and a camera with a key over it. That means it has been indexed and digitized but images are locked. When you click on the key it will say that the digitized images may be available at a Family History Center. Hopefully you have one nearby and the images are available.

Thank you, thank you, Greg! I do have a FHL library nearby, so will be able to get this record and several more! Bonnie
