When submitting a request for recent deceased relatives and you are not the closest living relative but have permission from one of the closest relatives, how does that work? Does SL call them? email them? or receive written permission?

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
[ Plus, I have been a Staff Member, of Family History Centres", of the Church, for many Years ... ]
Just in passing ...
A far as aware ...
'FamilySearch', CAN 'Contact', the Family member, that one has designated; as, giving permission.
Apart from whatever information one has provided, through "Permission Required" ...
'FamilySearch', has OTHER 'Methods', of contact available to it; especially, if they are a Members of the Church
Plus, for BOTH those, "Deceased" individuals/persons; and, "Living" Users/Patrons, who were/are Members of the Church, 'FamilySearch', has access to records in BOTH, 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Membership" Records, of the Church.
So, often, 'FamilySearch' KNOWS, if there is a Closer "Living" Relative, that is alive, that we, CANNOT 'see'; or, are NOT aware of.
Plus, be, aware; and, advised, that there can be MORE than just ONE, Close "Living" Relative.
[ ie. That one can obtain "Permission" ... ]
'FamilySearch', often KNOWS more, than We are aware ...
And ...
As stated in by the Church ...
Members of the Church, who start working on their "Ancestral" Lines, are often upset when they discover, that a Parent, a Child, or a Close "Relative", has had "Temple" work done, by a stranger.
The "110-year Policy", encourages Members of the Church, to perform "Temple" work for their OWN "Close" Relatives.
Ignoring the wishes, of the Closest "Living" Relative(s), can result in bad feelings toward both, you; and, the Church.
It is important to be considerate of OTHERS' feelings; and, to give Family members, the opportunity, to perform "Temple" Service for their Close "Relatives"; OR, "Deny" such, if the Close "Living" Relative(s) is (are), NOT, members of the Church.
