Help with Birth Record
Can you please provide transcription of the Danish and English translation for the child (Maren) of Gregers Povelsen? In pariticular, is there a mother? Thanks in advance.

@randall9 randall9 The mothers are not being named at this time. One of the witnesses is Anne Marie Fisbech. We see a Gregers Povelsen (68) in the 1801 census in Fisbech, Gudum who could be a possible match. His age would fit with having a child in this time period. By the way, there is another Maren born to this man in 1770, image 164. Have you tried looking for a marriage of Gregers? I see you have his death as Gregers Raunberg in 1803, 50 years old. These would not be the same man.

Of possible interest to you. There is a Lars Gregersen 24 yr. old in the 1787 census (b. 1763). Here is a christening that same year for a Lars son of Gregers Møller. https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17122496#161607,27154362

@randall9 randall9 1778 in Gudum, Gregers Povelsen and Else Christensdatter have a daughter Anna. https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17122496#161607,27154410 This does indicate Else is his wife.
