1792 Baptism record, Mühlhofen, Pfalz. The word in the circle looks to be some type of 'macher'. Any clues? Thanks! Tom

    Hello @Tom Randolph,

I read the word as: Schühmacher = Schuhmacher = shoemaker. (I am familiar with this word without an umlaut on the "u".)

The "Sch" combination in German script is stylized and takes some getting use to.

@Robert Seal_1 Thanks again! I had a sneaking suspicion, just not confident enough yet
