Your question: I would say that the names "Anna Maria" and "Maria Anna" are not necessarily interchangeable. I have, however, seen instances where the person's first and middle names have been reversed in different records and I know from my research that it is the same person. If that is the case here, you'll need to make an effort to confirm that the person is the same by finding all of the records associated with this person.

I think I have discovered Anna Maria/Maria Anna's birth record - more on that later. So far, I have 10 records for my 4x great-grandmother. In 5 of them, she is listed as Maria Anna (birth, child 1, child 2, Child 2 marriage, secondary source). In 5 of them, she is listed as Anna Maria (marriage 1, marriage 2, child 3, child 4, and death). Happy to share links to them all (you've translated some of them already).
Tonight, I found her birth record from a different parish - written in Latin. I'd like to request translation of that record as well. Do I create a new discussion/request or should I include it in this thread as it's related to the same person? Does it go in a different forum for Latin records?

As far as I know there is still no community forum for Latin. You should post a new request here as there are some German community members who are able to translate Latin.
Regarding "Anna Maria" vs. "Maria Anna": As long as you feel confident that this is the same person and because the records are evenly split between the two names, you should select one form of the name and enter the other form as an alternative name. Since you have her birth record where her name is "Maria Anna", you may want to use that form of the name. But it's your choice because it's your research.
