Can you please help me identify the parents of my 2ed great Grandmother and 2ed great grandfather?
I am stuck on my 2ed great grandparents, and cannot seem to get beyond them. She was Margareta Andersdotter born 9 May 1813 in Stra Ostergotland Sweden. Her husband was Anders Peter Dahlberg born 5 December 1812 in Motala Ostergotland Sweden. His death date may be 19 May 1904 in Vadstena Ostergotland Sweden.
They had at least 3 children:
Gustaf Alfred 24/11/1845 Vadstena Ostergotland Sweden
Clara Fredrica Elizabeth 7/6/1853 Vadstena Ostergotland Sweden
Carl Henning 27 August 1855 Vadstena Ostergotland Sweden
There may be others.
Can someone please help me to find Margareta and Ander Peter's parents? Thanks!

You seem to have already found his parents, but I found her birth record. I think your problem was that she was Maja Andersdotter at birth, Maja Greta Andersdotter at her marriage, and Margareta in all the records you had. I added what I found to her record - GQ6D-M72 is the correct person, right?

Elizabeth, Thank you very much for your help! Yes having Clara's mother's correct names might help to find her maternal grandparents, but I am still looking to find both of Clara's paternal and maternal grandparents.
I found a copy of Clara's baptismal record (enlarged) and a citation. Since I can not read or understand the Swedish, can you please identify the names and relationships of the other people at the baptism (not just her parents)? One of them appears to have the last name of Dahlberg, so I am hoping that they may be Clara's grandparents, or some other close relations that might help me to find both sets of Clara's grandparents. I fell so close! Thanks!

Elizabeth,
You must think I an crazy because although it appears as if I have found Anders Peter Dahlberg's parents, in fact I have not. The people I have in my tree are some people who MAY be his parents, but I am not at all confident that they really are. I put them in as place holders for now. If you can find his birth record somehow, and tell me his real parents' names that would be extremely helpful.
I have had much better success with Maja Gretta Andersson! Having her real names has been the key to getting past the roadblock I have been facing for months now!! Thanks so much for all of your help!

No, those really are his parents. If you go to Anders Peter Dahlberg ID # GQ88-ZHC and click on Sources under his name, the first one is "Birth and Baptism Record for Anders Peter." It links to
This is the original birth record from the Swedish national archives (riksarkivet.se). I like to use this for a reference because you don't have to have an account with ArkivDigital or Ancestry (which bought and assimilated Genline) to see it.
Decemb 5
Torp. (abbreviation for torpare) Jonas Davidsson och hans 28 are Hustru (it's abbreviated)
Brita Pehrsdotter i Damtorp
(this is where I go to the Place Names section of https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Motala_Landsförsamling_Parish,_Östergötland,_Sweden_Genealogy and correct Dawtorp to Damtorp)
på Offerby
<?> barn (child) döpt (christened) d(day) 6 Anders Peter
Crofter Jonas Davidsson and his 28-year-old wife
Brita Pehrsdotter of Damtorp on Offerby
<?> child christened the 6th day Anders Peter
Then you have the godparents/witnesses:
<?> Emanuel Johnsson and [his wife?]
of Offerby, Dr (short for dräng, which means laborer or farm-worker) Daniel Davidsson of
Offerby <?> Piga (maid, unmarried woman) <?> Jaensdotter of Falla
<?>
Probably somebody else can read this better. For me it's not so much the vocabulary as the handwriting.
BTW, the Swedish spelling of Elisabeth has an S instead of a Z. This applies to both Clara Fredrika Elisabeth and to me.
