Are these 5 children from the same mother and father and were the parents married?
Marthe born 1780 is my ancestor and I believe she was illegitimate and am wondering if the others were from the same parents. Marthe's mother is Elisabet Antoinette Nimb and father Jonas Hanssen Synsteby. They are all from Oppland, Vestre Toten book #[6 1773-1793.] Marthe page 136, her sister Marthe born 1776 p 74, Sophie page 176 and Jens page 258. I have not been able to find any record of Jonas Hanssen Synsteby. Thank you for your help. There is also a girl Maria born 30 Jan 1779 same place, I did not attach that one.

To summarize, you have:
Marthe Jonasdatter b 1776
father: Jonas
mother: Kari Halvorsdatter
parents married
at: SØNSTEBYE
Maria b 1779
father: Jonas Olsen
mother: Kari Halvorsdatter
parents married
at:SYNSTEBYE
Marthe b 1780
father: Jonas Hansen
mother: Else Nimb
parents not married
at: MORTERUD
Sophie b 1782
father: Jonas Olsen
mother: Kari Halvorsdatter
parents married
at: SYNSTEBYE
Jens b 1788
father: Jonas
mother: Kari Halvorsdatter
parents married
at: ØSTBYE
Based on this, I'd be willing to say that the first Martha, Maria, and Sophie are probably siblings. I'd need more evidence for Jens since he was born at a different farm and his father's patronymic is not listed.
However, your Martha, born 1780, clearly does not belong in this family. She was born to a different man (Jonas Hansen, not Olsen), to a different mother, at a different farm.
Jonas Hansen is listed as a Tjener (farm worker) at Morterud so he was probably not from that farm and there is the possibility he may not even have been from the parish.

Thank you. I had taken this information from a cousins tree and questioned it. However on my ancestors birth Marthe born 1780 in the margin does it say she is the 3rd illegitimate child of Elise? Any suggestions on how to track down Jonas Hansen since he has such a common name.

Unfortunately, I don't have any great suggestions. It will be a challenge because there is no marriage record for him and Else in the transcriptions for this parish record book and you don't have any hint as to where he was from. There are three other records for Else Nimb in the transcribed records:
but none of these give a patronymic for her or any indication as to where she was from.

Thank you. I do have a lot of information on Elise. Does the margin of her daughter say she was her third illegitimate child?
If so she was an interesting lady, if I can put it that way.

Yes, and the link I put in my previous reply includes the births of her first two children and her death record.
