    In the year 1864, on the 21st of July at 2 pm were married in Neuenheim after the marriage license issued by the Ducal district office dated 1 July # 13568 had been presented and after two proclamations on the 3rd and 10th of July by the undersigned: Georg Andreas Arnold, barrel maker, born on 16 February 1836, legitimate unmarried son of the citizen and farmer Georg Michael Arnold, currently a town councilman there, and his wife Anna Elisabetha maiden name Roth [?], and Catharina Elisabetha Groos, born on 21 November 1838, legitimate unmarried daughter of Johann Jacob Groos from Neuenheim and Margaretha Lang. Witnesses: Sebastian Arnold, a citizen, and barrel maker in Neuenheim, and Andreas Roth [?], citizen and farmer there.

    Handschuhsheim, 21 July 1864.
