I am so excited. I just received the 02 May 1773 marriage record for Joannes Georg Jochim and Maria Eva Seelinger in Rülzheim, Germersheim, Pfalz, Germany from the Bistumsarchiv in Speyer, Germany.  My 4th Great Grandparents. The handwriting is abysmal.  I can make out that Joannes Georg Jochim was a widower and that Maria Eva is the daughter of Georg Adam Seelinger and Elizabeth Hoffman.  Can you see any other tidbits? Occupations?  Thank you in advance. - genie

@genie stansbury In addition to what you wrote, I can see something related to "mutual consent" and "Antonio Schoenewald", and the names of the witnesses written at the end, after "testibus". Not sure if this is of any help :)

In the year 1773, on the 2nd of May in our parish church, after having been proclaimed without any impediments and having received their mutual consent I, Anton Schoenewald, the parish priest who signed below, have joined in marriage the groom widower Johann Georg Jochim, a citizen, and the wise virgin Maria Eva Selinger, daughter of Georg Adam Selinger, citizen and shoemaker, and the deceased Elisabetha Hoffmann, married couple. Witnesses were Nicolas Keger [???], Johannes Rueck, Daniel Jaeger, teacher, and Philipp Walter, preceptor [church councilman?], who have signed along with me.
