Need assistance with German speaking family members from Hungary, Romania, Austria Empire
I am not able to identify this city Njbessenyö, Hungary. I believe Peter Fischer is a close relative of my Great Grandfather John Robert Fischer. Both lived in Chicago, Illinois after arriving in the USA. Records show John R Fischer was born in Romania and Hungary in 1900.
Source Citation for the Fischer family.
Year: 1908; Arrival: New York, New York, USA; Microfilm Serial: T715, 1897-1957; Line: 22; Page Number: 159
Parents: Niklas and Susanna Fischer
Children: Peter, Gregory, Ignac,
I have a passport photo of a woman I believe is the Mother/Grandmother which is stamped Temes Torontal.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That's 'cause it's a U, not an N...
Újbesenyő or Új-Bessenyő, Temes county is now Dudeştii Noi, Romania. It had a Roman Catholic church locally. FamilySearch has some of its registers (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/309969), but they're several generations earlier than you need. You'll probably want to try tracking down the family book for the place (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1422063), but I'm not sure what to suggest for doing that.

Thank you, Julia. I appreciate your direction. Records for my family mention Új-Bessenyő, Temes Torontal, Budapest, Prague and Bohemia. Are these places close to each other? About distance are they from each other?

Temes and Torontál were adjacent counties in southern Hungary; they're both now partly Serbia, partly Romania, except for the northwesternmost corner of Torontál, just south of Szeged, which is still Hungary. Szeged is a city about 100 miles south and east of Hungary's capital city Budapest, and Budapest is over 300 miles south and east of Prague, the capital city of the Austrian crown land of Bohemia, and now of Czechia.
