I believe that it must be Bjurtjärn, Örebro county. The household record books for Bjurtjärn write the parish as "Bjurkärn". See here as an example: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0036509_00011#?c=&m=&s=&cv=10&xywh=1625%2C117%2C4718%2C2479.

If you have access to ArkivDigital or My Heritage, you could try a search in the Swedish Household records.

I am using sok.riksarkivet. So far not finding anything with your previous suggestion. Pausing to watch a roots tech time. Thanks for the ideas. Deniese

A search in My Heritage of the Swedish Household records shows them here in Etala, Bjurtjärn: https://www.myheritage.com/research/record-10180-190591502/jacob-hjerpe-in-sweden-household-examination-books

In Riksarkivet they are here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0036509_00065#?c=&m=&s=&cv=64&xywh=-269%2C1588%2C5074%2C2479.

Norm, thank you so much. I was not understanding that Bjurthärn was a whole different Parrish. Makes sense now. Deniese
