(Solved) Help with Baptism Extract -Giuseppe Stumpo
Once again I am struggling reading dates on baptism extracts. But first I better figure out which is the correct baptism record. Giuseppe Stumpo's parents were Stevano Stumpo & Rosa Gigliotti. These 2 records were both found in Giuseppe Stumpo and Teresa Pulice Marriage Processetti.
I would first like to find out which one of these documents are the actual baptism and what is the date of Baptism

Image 32 is a baptism certificate from Belsito:
Belsito, 25 Jan 1798 ... baptized a child born to Stefano Stumpo, from Rogliano (Rublano in Latin), and Rosa Gigliotti, from Motta Santa Lucia, ... a married couple, whom they named Giuseppe Marco
This is what I meant when I said that church baptisms typically do give the parents' origin if not from the community.
Image 33 is a baptism from Paterno Calabro:
Paterno Calabro, 22 Mar 1802 ... baptized a child born to Gennaro Pulice and Innocenza Borrelli, married couple, from this parish, whom they named Maria Teresa
Image 34 is the death of the groom's mother:
Belsito, 8 Jan 1802 ... Rosa Gigliotti wife of Stefano Stumpo from Rogliano, age 25, resident in Belsito, died

This is wonderful information Joseph, Thanks for the translation! You are right about value of baptisms records and the origins of Parents. I will have to learn more about Rogliano and Motta Santa Lucia.
It's sad to see Giuseppe's mother died so young. I'll have to check to see if Stefano Stumpo got remarried.
Thank you again for all your help and knowledge - Carl
