A birthcertificate In Italy, Cittadella(Padova).
Simonetto Alfredo was born in Cittadella on 1september 1910. I have also his deathdate.
The problem is that via Familysearch Catalogue Cittadella i can find certificates until 1909. Certificates from 1911 and wider are being prepared. Where couls I possbly find the birthcertificates of 1910.
Thanks for eventual help. Gerda

If that year isn't available on FamilySearch, it's likely because the book for that year was either lost or too damaged to film. Since the films are of the state archive copies, you should contact the comune of Cittadella to ask for a copy of the record since they have the first copy.

@AnnaFosal, Good advice from “Cousin Vinny” and the wiki. You may need to write or call in order to obtain the record. Best wishes! Here are some details of this conclusion if interested:
With regard to searching for the birth of Simonetto Alfredo on 1 September 1910 at Cittadella, Padova, Italy…. You mentioned how the FamilySearch catalog can help you.
To access catalog: Click Search, then Catalog.
To access this location, in the place field enter: Italy, Padova, Cittadella…click the default that appears in the green line below and click Search, We see that for this location, FamilySearch has both Church Records and Civil Registration. The question will be….will they have the year you need?
Let’s try Church records first, we click on Church Records. We discover that FamilySearch only has deaths of military personnel from 1805-1806 for a location that was sometimes in Austria, Hungry, and Italy at various times. While this is not what you are looking for….does this mean you have not really explored obtaining a church record some other way?
Now, let’s try Civil Registration. We see there are two sets of civil registration records.
Italia, Padova, Cittadella. Stato civile: Tribunale, 1871-1944. Click. We scroll down through the list looking for births (Nati). We find very few, most relate to marriages, and the years are too late.
So, we click on “Registri dello stato civile di Cittadella (Padova), 1806-1929. We look for films of births (Nati) in 1910. Here are the choices:
Film DGS 4112512, Nati 1891-1909. Just a little too early
Film DGS4113894, Nati 1911-1920. Just a little too late, and for some reason not available digitally, only on microfilm in SLC.
We notice in the film notes that “some years may be missing or out of order.”
It is always helpful to review the familysearch wiki article that pertains to this as found here:
“Padua, Veneto, Italy Genealogy” https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Padua,_Veneto,_Italy_Genealogy
But bottomline, I agree with “Cousin Vinny” and the wiki. You may need to write or call in order to obtain the record. Best wishes!
