Need help deciphering a sentence on a mixed marriage record

Hi Valued Researchers:

This marriage record has perplexed me.

I’m okay until I get to the part about Vikar Schneider (the part after the banns were read and before the celebrants are named).

It’s a mixed marriage… Catholic & Protestant. Apparently, Schneider did the baptizing and Eberlin is adding it to his records. 

So, what is being said?

I do not see any mentioning of a "mixed marriage" or a baptism. Here is my translation:

Headline: Excerpt from the marriage register of the Protestant community of Handschuhsheim, Volume 1866, No. 13

In the year 1866, September 25 at 2 p.m. the following were married here on the basis of a marriage certificate issued by the Grand Ducal District Office of Heidelberg of 7 September of the current year, No. 19735, and after a proclamation had been made here and in Neuenheim on 9 and 16 September, according to the certificate of the vicar Schneider in Neuenheim dated 22 September: Peter Vogel, born 30 December 1844, legitimate son of Jakob Vogel, farmer at Neuenheim, and Anna Katharina née Heß, with Katharina Charlotte Weynrich, born 28 September 1845, legitimate daughter of Georg Heinrich Weynrich, citizen and farmer here, and Anna Katharina, née Grün. Witnesses: Theobald Lenz, citizen and farmer in Neuenheim, and Georg Heiß, citizen and farmer here.

In Gefolge Oberamtlichen Trauscheins vom 9ten 7ber l[aufenden] J[ahres] Nro. 17481, heute Nachmittags 2 Uhr

Translation:

Following the marriage certificate No. 17481 of the Superior Office of September 9th of the current year, this afternoon at 2 o'clock ...
