Kirchenbuch, 1661-1870 Authors: Katholische Kirche Schömberg (Kr. Landeshut)
I need some advice on Kirchenbuch, 1661-1870 Katholische Kirche Schömberg (Kr. Landeshut). It is the Catholic parish register of baptisms, marriages and deaths in Schömberg, Schlesien, Germany, now Chełmno Śląskie (Kamienna Góra), Wrocław, Poland. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/310094?availability=Family%20History%20Library
I've searched on there and come up with nothing. I am trying to get more on Heinrich Zeuner and Rosalie Gramer. They were listed on their son Alfred's birth certificate (born in 1895) as Catholic and from Schömberg (Kr. Landeshut). I was hoping to find a marriage certificate and/or birth certificates for Heinrich or Rosalie, but I could find nothing. Alfred's marriage certificate listed that they last lived in Zantkau b. Trebnitz, Germany so maybe that's where a death certificate would be?
Can anyone help me find more details on Heinrich and/or Rosalie? I've uploaded all we have under each person on the family tree. If you use Alfred's number (GDGR-HT8) you can branch off. Thank you!

According to the entries in an historic address book of Trebnitz and surroundings, there seems to be no Zeuner in 1931 (one year after the wedding). Unfortunately the civil registries in the "Standesamt" of Trebnitz only bear the deaths of 1.1.1935-31.9.1935. The rest is obviously missing. Sorry.

Since the sons Alfred and Berthold were born 1895 and 1900, respectively, I would assume that the marriage of Heinrich Zeuner and Rosalie Gramer was later than 1870 which is the last year of the catholic church book of Schömberg. Also, their birth and marriage was not necessarily in Schömberg as the birth record of Alfred lists only their residence at the time of his birth, not their birthplace.
Obviously they moved around a bit since at the time of the birth of the younger son Berthold their residence is in Hundsfeld, which is near Breslau/Wroclaw, about 130 km from Schömberg.
On Ancestry I found two address books entries for blacksmith Heinrich Zeuner, one from Breslau (1898) and one from Hundsfeld (1902)

I was afraid they might have moved around a lot which is why I can't find anything substantial on them. Would you make any assumptions on the Breslau address book about the Zeuner listings (like are any of the related)? I admit I'm having difficulties translating Herman, Richard, Clara, Pauline, and Henriette's occupations and I don't know what pt., III, and IV stand for. Thanks for the assistance!

Hello Christy,
Without further evidence I would not assume that the Zeuner in the Breslau address book are closely related.
- The occupations listed are:
- Herm[ann] technical secretary
- Rich[ard] railway technical secretary
- Clara painter widow
- Pauline laundress
- Henriette widow
pt. (parterre), III, and IV are floor designations (translates into 1st, 4th and 5th floor)

I found this record from Eastern Prussian Provinces, Germany [Poland], Selected Civil Vitals, 1874-1945 Birth, baptism & christening. Do you think it's the Heinrich I'm researching? It would make him 45 at Alfred's birth and 50 at Berthold. I've seen Zeuner written many different ways. I can't read a lot of it except that he died in Lauban, Prussia/Poland when he was 71 on 25 Feb 1921.

No, it's definitely not him, because the record says he was married with Karolin née Haupt, which is not Rosalie Gramer (or Cramer). In general, it is difficult to search exclusively by name. You need some more evidence to be absolutely sure.
