Ancestors of James McMurray, Pickering, Ontario, Canada-Emigrated from Portadown, Armagh, Ireland
I have not been able to research beyond Pickering, Ontario, Canada. No information at all about his parents in Ireland or even siblings that perhaps emigrated with him. His DOB is questionable but found marriage certificate to Jane Smith and also census data that conflicts with the DOB of 1806. I believe he may be buried at Salem Cemetery but uncertain. I no longer live in Canada but trying to do a genealogy for my family- McMurray. My brother and his sons are only living members to carry on the genealogy from John McMurray.
