Hi! I have been working on my Danish ancestors and I have come to a place where I believe I need to find immigration records, if possible. I believe that my relatives immigrated there from Italy and Germany - but where can I find out more? Thanks in advance for any help!

The years I need information on are the early 1700s, btw.

So your Danish ancestors came to the new world from Denmark or from Italy and Germany? Can you give specific names and IDs? By the way, immigration as a term was not used in the 1700s, you want naturalization records and passenger lists. Passenger lists were dicey in the early 1700s, but got better around 1720-1730. Also, finally where exactly did they land in the new world? I might be able to find out with full names.

Thank you for responding! I am just looking for immigration from possibly Italy or Germany just to Denmark, not to the new world. Here are some of the individuals I’m hoping to find that info on:

    Josephi Santi Sensini 94KR-5KV

    Jacob Verhusen G8JH-HNZ

They belonged to the Catholic Church in Copenhagen, and I can’t find any information in those records as to where they were from or when they arrived. But since it was Catholic I know that all of that congregation was from other countries.
