I need some help with a Danish confirmation record
Entry #3 in 1865 for Rasmus Rasmussen; parents are Rasmus Klausen and Lisbet Hansdatter. I need help reading what it says under Rasmus Rasmussen's name and what it says about his parents (possibly moved to Amerika?) and any other important notes. It says he was born 14 April 1851 and baptized 3 October in the church. That's a big span! His PID is LQBB-7LQ. The christening record attached to him has his father's name indexed incorrectly. It's pretty confusing! Thank you for helping me!

I think you must have meant entry #4 (rather than #3). Under Rasmus Rasmussen's name it reads he is from Abed School.
About the parents: The father, Rasmus Klausen, it says he is (was) a renter who lived before in Tjennemarke but is now in America. The mother is "divorced wife Lisbet Hansdatter".
The fourth column reads "born in Bran(d)smosen the 14th of April 1851, baptised the 3rd of October of the same year here in the church".
The sixth column says he was "vaccinated (for smallpox) 2 July 1852 by Møller".

I think I have found Rasmus Klausen and Lisbet Hansdatter in the 1870 census in Wisconsin. Do you think that must be wrong if it says they are divorced? I've found multiple Rasmus Klausen's with wife Lisbet in Wisconsin and Kansas and am trying to sort this out!
I really appreciate your help! Thanks so much!

Rasmus's confirmation record definitely reads "fraskildt hustru Lisbet Hansdatter" which translates to "divorced wife Lisbet Hansdatter". The 1860 Denmark census for Stokkemark, Maribo shows them as being married (see here: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid14576133) so they must have divorced between 1860 (the census) and 1865 (Ramus's confirmation). How sure are you that it is the same couple in the 1870 Wisconsin census? I suppose it is possible that they got back together again.

I'm not sure yet. I'm hoping to find naturalization papers. Are there any Danish records that might help me sort this out? They aren't in the 1870 indexed Danish census. Thanks again!
