Born 27 July 1783 and christened on the 3 August 1783 was Wiebcke ODEFEY daughter of Heldt ODEFEY a resident in Seeth and wife Fraucke nee TIMM. Witnesses/sponsors: 1. the resident Johann DETLEFS, 2 Margaretha wife of Hans GEHLSEN in Nordstapel, 3. Sophia Gardr. (perhaps Gertrud) daughter of Ports PETERS of Seeth
The surname is ODEFEY, look at the "f" in DETLEFS, or look at the "s" in GEHLSEN.

@Marion Wolfert ... Thanks again for the translation and correction of the family name. Yes, when I compare Odefey and Gehlsen, I can clearly see the difference in the letter script.

@Ulrich Neitzel ... Thanks again for your help with the transcription. If I worked with these records more frequently, I could probably learn to read the handwriting better.
