Here's an idea - Go back to the old website search interface
The website "customer experience" newly implemented at familysearch is horrendous.
And no, my issues are not 'learning curve' related. I am suffering efficient and effective search problems.
My sense is that Familysearch is now fully in the hands of IT people, and not researchers? (would explain everything)
I also sense the wholesale redesign was for the benefit of people who use cell phone. For the people who only dip their toe periodically into research (and those who copy/paste the hard work of others - which is fine).
But what do WE do now - the people who spend hours upon hours at our PC, ransacking the FS catalog, databases, visiting archives (in numerous countries).
I answer family tree questions of 100s of people from around the world every year.....And I'm at the point of surrender using the new Familysearch interface
Moreover, not only is the search interface virtually unusable, the search results are now unreliable (What happened?)
I'm an "expert" and this is junk. (sorry)
