Individuals 1 and 3 have a similar note "6 men.....and then a date" I would like to know what the entries say. Background: between 1860 and 1874, dissenters to the state religion were to appear before a pastor and selected others to be questioned as to their change in religion. I am wondering if this is an indication that these two people where brought before the group of 6 for changing their religion. (Of course, it may be something entirely different.) This note appears fairly frequently in the record. Thanks in advance. Here is the link (I wish you accepted snips) : Hishult (L, N) AI:6 (1864-1874) Image 670 / Page 63 (AID: v92614a.b670.s63, NAD: SE/LLA/13152)

Link does not work. I believe this is what you are referring to: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0010773_00069

Note says 6 män handbev and then 1. has 4 dates and 3. has 3 dates

I have not come across this note before but I believe that you are right that they have been questioned by 6 men.

Thanks, Heidi. Yes, you have the right image. As I mentioned the pastor had the responsibility to try to convince their parishioners who became Baptists to not convert, by law. I believe we are seeing evidence that the pastor and 6 others questioned (harangued?) those who wish to leave the state church.
