Who were the parents of Johannes Guhring (1749-1824)?
Hello
I believe I have found the baptism and burial records for my 5th great-grandfather, Johannes Guhring (see attached).
I am wondering if
1) his parents are listed in these records, and
2) what his mother's maiden name was.
A full translation of both records would be appreciated.

Last entry on the burial record's page.
Thank you for your time.

Hello @Kelly Rauch Hawver,
Birth record:
Time [i.e., date]: 16 February [1749] born and the day after baptized.
Child: Johannes.
Parents: Caspar Güring and wife Agatha.
Godparents [or baptismal sponsors]: Johannes Dieterlin. Joh. Jacob Hetzel, unmarried. Margaretha, wife of Hanß Martin Beulhartz of the court.
Comments: Note the line over the letter "n" in the child's name "Johanes"; that line means to double the letter "n" making the name: Johannes. You will frequently find this line over the letter "n" as well as the letter "m".
(Translation of death record to follow in separate response.)
