Could someone please help with this 1866 baptism for Maria Erlinda Licht?
This baptism record is for Maria Erlinda Herminia Emilia Licht, daughter of Francisco Otto Emilio Licht and Herminia Emilia Carlota Teresa Reiche. Three days after this baptism, Herminia married my 2nd great uncle, Enrique Garms. In that document, Herminia is said to be a widow, of Francisco Otto Emilio Licht who died 8 months previously.
My questions relate to the age of the child who is being baptised, and whether Francisco is noted as deceased (or Herminia as widowed). Also, who are the other people mentioned in this record? Are any of them the grandparents of the child?
This record is from Ancestry: Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Catholic Church Records, 1667-1981; Montemorelos>San Mateo>Bautismos 1863-1870, p 113, 16 Mayo 1866 #160 (left side). Here is the link: https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/60991/images/004515002_00237?pId=567206
Thanks so much for any help on this.

Hi Brenda,
Baptism date: 16 May 1866
Child is the legitimate daughter of: Otto Emilio Licht (deceased) and Herminia Emilia Carlota Teresa Reiche. The child was 1 year and 24 days old at the time of the baptism.
Paternal Grandparents of Maria Erlinda were: Justino Florentino and Vilhmina Federic
Maternal Grandparents of Maria Erlinda were: Carlos Heneric Reiche and Emilia Gareste
Spellings of the names are likely off from their German spellings - just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for this, Lynn. Here is another case where the father had died before the child was baptised. You are right, the spellings of the German names may be off and I need to keep that in mind. It can be confusing and makes it hard to be sure I have the correct records. Your help is invaluable and very much appreciated.
