Where are you going to try to access these?
Using the FamilySearch catalogue, I came up with the following
This offers a link to the Durham University website. The How to Use button takes you to a FamilySearch page that says that you can only browse the images and that there is no index.
Have you found a different website?

I have Durham / Northumberland ancestry and regularly make checks for any probate documents (pre-1858) that might be available in respect of my ancestors / relatives.
I make my searches from the page at http://familyrecords.dur.ac.uk/nei/data/advanced.php, which provides the links to FamilySearch images. There is usually no need to input anything other than Surname, as there were relatively few individuals who left wills at this time. The Administrations are more difficult to find, but often do not have too much useful information attached, so I usually stick to looking for actual wills.
Below is the list of results presented by searching on my own surname (after entering the surname and clicking on "search database"). Click on any of the links to follow the process. I find this much easier than working directly from FamilySearch.
