how do I attach a PDF for help from this discussion group?
Greetings
How do I post a PDF birth record from Archion for transcription help since it does not have an allowed extension? This record is not available on FS to attach in jpg format.

Save your pdf as a jpg and post away. I have found I get a better quality using Archion by doing a screen shot on Archion but you will need to save that as a jpg as well. Why Archion doesn't use high quality jpgs is a mystery to me.

Thank you Kent. For whatever reason I am unable to "save an Acrhion Pdf as" a jpg directly Thanks to your suggestion, I can take a screen shot of my saved pdf and resave it as a jpg for posting which I did not know I could do. Hoppefully this resaved jpg image is as readable as the original pdf.

Campbellroots, That is strange. On my Mac there is no problem doing so. I think a PC can do it as well. Adobe will let you do so online: just type in saving a Pdf to a jpg. FS won't let me post the link.

Thank you so much for following up with me on this. I have followed your link and it seems to save the Archion pdf as a zip file that I then need to convert. Here is my question. Are you paying for your Adobe subscription? Adobe used to be free but now they seem to charge. I need to figure this conversion out and greatly appreciate your assistance as I try to sort through it all.

just do a search "Pdf to jpg" and many online solutions will present themselves. Adobe is one, no payment necessary.
On my Mac I pull up the Pdf and export it as a jpg. Either way will work.
