If you're like most people, you still family members on your Christmas shopping list (or other gift list). But, maybe you're looking for something more meaningful than a gift card. Consider some of these fun and memorable family history gifts for youth (both to make and receive):
- 🎄 Family Tree Wreath (lots of variations on this based on available resources; could even create a digital version)
- ☁️ Family Name Word Cloud (Try first or last name only, or include first and last names together. Plus, there are a bunch of other cool family history charts you can print for free and that connect to the FamilySearch Family Tree.)
- 📜 Family Stories here and here (Research shows how teenagers are positively impacted with greater resiliency and identity when they know their family stories. Consider choosing just a few so it's not overwhelming. Pair the story with a photo. You could frame a couple to put in a child's room or put in a folder or small binder and continue to add or encourage your children to add stories throughout the years.)
