Help Translating Records from Arcinsys
Hello- Would someone be able to help me decipher the information in the screen shot? This is from the website Arcinsys. Also does anyone on here know how to use this website or help me to understand if these records are available to look at? Someone else found this for me, and I clicked on the detail page and it doesn't pull up anything. Are they records that need to be requested? Thank you!

Hello Courtney
Arcinsys is mainly an index of physically archived paper documents; only some items are available online. You can see which documents are available online if you check the box "Only objects with digital copies" on the search page.
The three items that came up on your search are paper files archived in the Niedersächsisches Landesarchiv Bückeburg (NLA BU): https://www.arcinsys.niedersachsen.de/arcinsys/detailAction.action?detailid=a2
They are the Last Will (Letztwillige Verfügung) or the Protocol about the reading of the will (Testamentseröffnung) of the named people. To access them you would need to make a personal visit at the Landesarchiv.

@Ulrich Neitzel Hello again and thank you. So does this statement from above "Frau Dorothee Henriette geb. Luther zu Hessendorf Nr 4" - mean that Dorothee Henriette is his wife, is Luther her last name? What does "geb" mean?
and I am assuming that the Landesarchiv is in germany ?

Yes, Dorothee Henriette was the wife of Hermann Heinrich Hagemann. "geb." means geborene = née or born, so her maiden name was Luther or Lutter (two different spellings).
The branch of the Landesarchiv which holds these documents is in Bückeburg, a town not far (~10 miles) from Hessendorf.

@Courtamber so great to see you getting help - this is a wonderful place! (I also changed this one to a question for you as you are figuring out why you can't do that). Keep asking for help - we love it! Enjoy today, Cindy
