Hello Myke,
Translation of the obituary of Willie Frederick:
Pella
On May 22nd, at the age of 15 years, Willie Frederick, the youngest son of Mr. Ferdinand Frederick and his wife Lauretta, died in Belle Plaine, and he was laid to rest on May 25th with a large entourage by Pastor Stubenvoll in the Lutheran cemetery. The funeral service took place at 1:00 pm in the parents' house and from there the almost mile long funeral procession consisting of about 114 wagons moved to the Lutheran Friedenskirche [Peace Church], where the body was laid in front of the altar. When the coffin and the flowers were in place, the school children sang the beautiful song: "O would I be up there with God's little angel." Pastor Stubenvoll then entered the pulpit, after the congregation had sung, and preached the words of the Revelation of John, chapter 2, verse 10. After the sermon the choir of the Belle Plaine parish sang the well-known song "Nearer my God to thee" and a quartet sang "Where does the soul find the home, the rest" during the conclusion of the funeral service, from there the funeral procession moved to the cemetery to give the deceased the last escort of honor. In addition to the parents, four brothers and four sisters survive.

Thank you for the translation of this obituary. Brought tears to my eyes, when I read "Nearer my God to thee"
