Where can I find online images of British Military Service Records? How can I determine which unit he served in (World War I)? And last but not least- what can the military service records tell me which will help grow my family tree?

Many WW1 servicemens records were burnt in an air raid during WW2. 66% as I recall. If you're fortunate and among the lucky 33% you'll get perhaps father, spouse, children mentioned.
