Same couple married twice to each other?
I'm searching information about my predecessors who lived in Livorno and married during the year 1892. There's no civil registration acts or church records online for that year in the area they lived (Elba island). All I managed to find whas a site with indexes of the marriages relized in churches during that year (http://registriparrocchiali.weebly.com/).
What puzzles me is that I found two entries for the marriage, in different churches.

Capoliveri - S. Maria Assunta - elenco dei coniugati (1892-1900)
Year 1892. MANNUCCI, Angiolo / MAGNANINI, Maria

Sant'Ilario in Campo - S. Ilario- elenco dei coniugati (1891-1900)
Year 1892. MANNUCCI, Angiolo / MAGNANINI, Maria
Capoliveri seems to be the town where the bride's family lived. Sant'Ilario in campo, the town where the groom's family lived.
Do you think it was customary to do the marriage ceremony twice?
Thanks in advance.

The church marriage would only be done once of course, and normally in the bride's home parish. That said, the groom's parish may have decided to make a note in their marriage register anyways. If you would consult the original record in the groom's parish, you'd probably notice that it'd explain that the marriage was actually done elsewhere. Of course, being that it's in still in the marriage register, when compiling the indexes, they would have included it normally.
This kind of double recording is not common, but I have seen it when going through church records in Italy before.
