New search didn't work for me on exact search
Entered Last name "Dunn".
Entered Residence "Moore, North Carolina", clicked the Exact box.
Entered Residence Year 1820 to 1820.
Entered Record type "Census".
Had "Show Exact Search" on from previous searches.
Clicked Search.
Got 5 results, all with last name Dunn and all results were census records in 1820. Three results were in Moore County NC and 2 results were in Anson County NC. That isn't exact to Moore County NC.
Changed the residence to Anson County NC, and all results were in Anson County. The first two in the results list were the two who also showed up in the Moore County search (Samuel and Hezekiah Dunn).

@Ann Holladay First, apologies that it took so long for you to get a response.
We reproduced your search in historical records: last name Dunn, Residence place: Moore, North Carolina with the exact search box checked; residence year 1820-1820; record type Census. We got only 3 results: all for last name Dunn in Moore, NC on the 1820 Census. So, it appears that the problems with the exact search have been resolved. If you continue to have issues with it, please let us know.
We really appreciate that you gave us all the details we needed to be able to reproduce your search!
