Trouble signing in to daughter's account

I am having a lot of trouble singing my daughter in to her account. I created an account. Same day I tired to sign her in and got an "password incorrect error". I tried to change the password incase we wrote it down wrong. I used my phone number to receive the verification code but realized I was changing my pass word not her's. Then I tried getting a reset verification code using her membership number and birthday but was given an "an account matching the birthdate and membership number not found". I got the number off of the LDS tools and used the same number and birth date to sign her up in the first place. I can't even start over to make an account for her because an account already exists for her membership number. I am not for sure how I can fix the problem. I would like to delete the current account and start over again just in case I made a mistake the first time. Where can I go from here.
