Danish Help: Do these two profiles need to be merged?

I'm trying to figure out if these two people are the same and need to be merged. Carl Julius Sørensen G8XQ-2C7 is the one I have been researching. This other profile, Carl Julius Sørensen MNPT-RC6, seems to match in birth date and I think birthplace, but I'm not sure. I don't know where Elsted, Århus is and the suggested records for him also use the location of Skødstrup, Randers.

My guy: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G8XQ-2C7

Potential merge: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MNPT-RC6

Any help or suggestions?

I would say that they are the same person. The difference between the two is that one includes his parents and the other lists his wife and two children as listed in the 1901 census that you have attached as a source. If you click on the link to Ancestry.com (on the details page on Family Search) for either one of these two, the first two documents that Ancestry offers you are first, the marriage record, and second the baptism record. The marriage record has his correct birth date (18 July 1862) as well as his birth place (Elsted). The marriage record lists his wife's name - which matches the 1901 census record. Note that the 1901 census also has his birth date listed correctly. The birth record also lists Elsted as the birth place, and lists the parents shown in the other record in Family Search. My opinion is that you can merge the two - Just get the correct birth date in the merged profile

Thank you for your help. Do you know where Elsted is? Is it in Randers or Århus?

The birth record indicated above (https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61607/images/48619_62021000437_0145-00064?treeid=&personid=&hintid=&queryId=0c20b5933d57e644a8eb10f1fedacebc&usePUB=true&_phsrc=Xzi11&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true&_ga=2.73119574.495923896.1631483675-1789363921.1631209323&pId=10069317) Indicates that this record is from Århus county records

The marriage record, in case you were not able to find it is here (https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61607/images/48492_62021000435_16380-00188?treeid=&personid=&hintid=&queryId=0c20b5933d57e644a8eb10f1fedacebc&usePUB=true&_phsrc=Xzi13&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true&_ga=2.105626438.495923896.1631483675-1789363921.1631209323&pId=608542454) In this case the record comes from Grenå Parish (Sogn), in Randers Amt (county)

Research Wiki shows the location of these two counties in the time period of these two records
