the year 1834, April 24 at 2 a.m., before us Martin Breitener, mayor and registrar of Wentzwiller, canton of Huningue, department of Haut-Rhin appeared Jacques Mundwiller, farmer, son of Jacques Mundwiller farmer and the late Anne Marie Wanner died January 10, 1816 spouses of this place acting with the consent and under the authorization here present on the one hand and Catherine Dürrig without status domiciled and born in Oltingen on November 25, 1807 , daughter of Thibaud Dürrig and Catherine Serraner, joint laborers of the said place acting with the consent and under the authorization of his said father and mother here present on the other hand. Which Jacques Mundwiller and Catherine Dürrig have requested us to proceed right now with the celebration of the planned marriage between them and whose publications have been made both in this place and in Oltingen on Sundays 13 and 20 of this month, no opposition having us been notified to the mayor of Oltingen, granting their requisition and after having read and interpreted in German both the birth certificates of the future spouses, the death certificate of the husband's mother, the said deed of birth of the husband and death of the mother contained in this register of civil status, that of the wife as well as the publication certificate of the mayor of Oltingen attached hereto, that of chapter 65 of the civil code entitled from marriage, we asked the future husband and the future wife, if they want to take each other as husband and wife, each of them having answered separately and in the affirmative, declare in the name of the law that Jacques Mundwiller and Catherine Dürrig are united speak wedding. All of which we have drawn up this act in the presence of François Joseph Munswiller brother of the husband aged 30, Martin Bösinger aged 46, first cousin of the husband, François Joseph Bucchman aged 35, and Simon Greder 36 years old; all cultivators, the last two not related to the spouses domiciled in this place, witnesses who have signed this deed with the parties and us after reading and interpretation.

Thank you Didier Darrort for this translation and the corrections! I have corrected the marriage day to 24 April 1834 and place to Oltingen; the bride's last name to Dürrig; and her birth date to 25 November; the bride's mother's last name to Serraner instead of Brunner, and the note of a first cousin of the husband as Martin Bösinger. All of this most helpful. Thank you for giving of your time and translation talent.
Gratefully,
