Baptism Date and finding the correct record

Hello,

I am attempting to find the father and mother of my ancestor whose name is Wilem Wilem Lammerts. I found a birth record from three of his daughters that states that he was born in 1791. Yet, when I try to find a birth record for him the most that I get is a baptism record. Unfortunately, I get multiple different dates and names for his mother/father. How will I know which is the correct record? Do I need to find more information on this ancestor before I try to find his parents? What do you guys suggest I do?

Thank you,

Kaja

P.S. His ID number is G889-C6Y. If this will help.

    Hello Kaja,

I have searched your ancestor with PID G889-C6Y. I saw that this person was deleted. Apparently the record was merged with record PID L8S1-8PT. There is a birth date and birth place in that record. However, the birthday is 8 July 1786. The are 9 sources attached to this record. I would advice you to look at these sources and determine if these source relate to you ancestor.

    I hope this helps you.

    Best regards,

    Gilbert
