Dear MrYeliab
Like you, we note that in the sources of referrals, the place of birth is different from year to year. As the precise name of the locality is not mentioned precisely, it is impossible to know where the locality is located precisely. Surely the location given depends on the statement made by the person identified, according to his personal memories.
It would be necessary to have compie of the authentic birth certificate for a precise location.
I hope to have answered your question

Dear MrYeliab
To explain this change of country perhaps it comes from the pronociation;
Dutch land ( hollande land= Hollande) is almost pronounced like duitch land. (Germany)
Pronouncing a name in a foreign language sometimes causes confusion, for example one of my ancestor born in Belgium (Evariste) becomes (Everet) when he got married in Illinois.
