Translation of death record year 1827
I would appreciate the translation of the death record year 1827 for Generoso Mauro in Sala Consilina, Salerno, Italy. The record is on Antenati: Nati 1827 (Registro 4771), entry 72, image 90.

On 17 June 1827, at 12 o’clock, in front of me, Stefano Cardinale, mayor and civil registration officer of the municipality of Sala, district of Sala, province of the Principality Citeriore, appeared Palmidio Scutaro, 50 years old, landowner, citizen, residing in Sala in Tempaforno, and Stefano Mele, 50 years old, landowner, citizen, residing in Sala in Mezzo Catena, and they declared that on 16 June 1827 at 10 pm died in his (own) house Mr. Generoso Mauro, 80 years old, husband of Rosalba Pinto, born in: Sala, occupation: landowner, residing in: Sala, son of the deceased Andrea (the father of the deceased - no profession or residence is shown for the father) and of the deceased Dorotea Capobianco, his spouse (the mother of the deceased).
By law enforcement, we and the said witnesses went to see the deceased person and acknowledged his death. Then we made this deed that we wrote in two registers, and we read it to the declarants on the above mentioned day, month and year, and it is signed by us and the declarants.

I think it is a language filter - that word has a vulgar meaning in Portuguese. 🤐

Thank you very much for the translation of the death record. The information of Generoso's age and the name of his parents is very helpful for my research to find more records for him i.e. birth and marriage. I appreciate your help.
