Palermo Catasto Records
I was curious to see if there are any online Catasto records for the towns in Palermo. Specifically I am looking for Solanto (now it is called Santa Flavia. The other area I am researching is Bagheria. - Carl

In Sicily they are called riveli. FamilySearch only has the 1811 Riveli for Bagheria, which only counted people who were property owners:
No riveli online for Solanto/Solunto and Santa Flavia that I know of. You may want to contact Marcello d'Aleo; he lives in Bagheria and is very familiar with the riveli and the holdings of the Palermo state archives. He has a genenalogical research website.

@joseph99929 I have used the pre-civil church records for Bagheria. One word of caution that I learned the hard way. There is a town called Solunto. However this is not the same town I have been researching. Prior to it being named Santa Flavia it was named Solanto. To make matters worse the town of Solunto is also in Palermo. I don't think there are early church records for Solanto.
That's good to know on the Riveli, I guess I won't spend much time on these. It is the census part that is what I care the most about.
I'm actually been working on this area (Bagheria / Solanto) for my godfather. I've been able to get pretty far back on his Paternal Grandfathers line, but it's his paternal Grandmothers line which would open up a great many new ancestors. I have her immigration record, but it only mentions her sister (Maria) on the document.
As you figured the birth year 1886 did come from death record in the US.
I don't need anything certified, just a scan of this one marriage record should get me started. Her name was Catorina Speciale. But surprisingly that is a pretty common surname in Bagheria.

@Cousin Vinny Thank you for the answer. I'll have to take a look at the riveli records for Bagheria. What key words in the various BMD records would I look for to determine if they are a property owner?
I have 1 Key record I need in Bagheria it's a marriage record from 1906. There is a large line of this family that I can't track back because of lack of this single marriage record. ( I need the names and ages of the parents of the bride.)
This was stamped on the Bagheria birth record of the groom (Guiseppe Sorci). So it says the date they were married. Unfortunately the Birth year of 1886 is missing from the records on family search, so the only other way is to get a scan or copy of the record. She died in the USA and no mention of her parents on the death record.
But thank you again for your help- Carl

I'm assuming you know Caterina's birthdate was 1886 from US sources, but since the year is missing online, nothing you can do, correct?
I agree you should contact Marcello D'Aleo, he'll definitely know what can be done about obtaining either the civil birth/marriage or the church baptism/marriage in Bagheria for Caterina, either of which would solve your problem.
Note that the 19th century riveli do not provide any genealogical information whatsoever, only description of lands owned. The older 16th-18th century riveli provide full detail similar to what you've been studying in Cosenza, but the Palermo area was exempt from tax, so these censuses weren't done in this area.
For you reference, there are some limited pre-civil church records online on FamilySearch for Bagheria and Solunto.

Another alternative is to use the FamilySearch remote look up service (https://www.familysearch.org/en/family-history-library/family-history-library-records-look-up-service) to see if they will find the 1906 marriage since they have it, just not online:

@Cousin Vinny That is an excellent suggestion. I am going to try that first, hopefully they can help. Is the 105387010 a film or DGS#?

DGS.
