This was awhile ago, and I really could use Bache and Cilcochwyn (sometimes spelled Cilcychwyn) and Hafodgynfor/Havod Gynfawr, Nantygwryd, Pentgwern, Cysmediw, Eglwysegl—this is a small town in Llangollen Parish—not the Parish spelled Eglwyseg, way west but also in Denbighshire.

 Although Tal-y-garth, Pennant, Vivod, Cysyllte, Crogenwladus, Crogen Iddon, Dinbren, Llangollen Abbott, Llangollen Fechan, Llangollen Fawr are.  Thank you for them!

Any chance you can put the rest of these on soon?

Having a standard for everyone of these is so important with the commonality of surnames in Wales.  

Sometimes it is only this small place name and perhaps an occupation that helps me distinguish between individuals of the same name.

You might already know this, but just in case:

The ancient parish of Llangollen was divided into 3 Traeans (traean being Welsh for “a third”)—Llangollen (L), Trevor (T), and Glyn (G). If it helps I can tell you which Traean they are in.

Bache (L) = Bachau currently it could possibly be Fron Bache (shows on Google maps south of Llangollen) or Maes Bache or Bache field but never in the PRs.

Egwysegl (T) = Egwysegle, Egwyseagle, Eglwyseaghe—if you have some leaway in picking spellings the further away from the spelling of the Parish by the same name the better for this one.

Hafodgynfor (G) = Havod Gynfawr/Gynvor (possibly Pen-y-bryn today; I have a crude map I made showing it just north of Pen-y-bryn)

Cilmediw (T) = Keelmediw, Kilmediw

Cilcochwyn (G) = Cilcychwyn, Kilcychwyn, Keelkochwyne

Pengwern (L)

Nantygwryd (G) = Nantgwirl

Erwallo (G)

Geufron (south of Dinbren by Wern-Isaf)

Thank you for all you have done to add Llangollen Townships—the only one not added was Pen Y Clawdd.  Although it is listed in the Parish Registers, since you didn’t add it, I thought perhaps it was a farm name and not a Township; but, I came across proof that it was a Township today in Chirk Manor Chirk Castle Papers FHL fiche 6,027,350 p. 101 No. 106.
