I'm trying to find official information on these callings: 1. Stake T+FH Consultant 2. Stake T+
1. Stake T+FH Consultant
2. Stake T+FH Consultant - Family History Center
3. Stake T+FH Lead.
I have found the information for the ward versions of these callings. It's just the Stake callings I need to find information on callings & purposes.
In addition to this question I'd like to know if every Family History Center in a Stake must have a Stake T+FH Consultant - Family History Center person specifically called just for that center or is there one person in this role for the entire stake. I'm assuming that this Stake T+FH - FHC calling replaces what was the FHC Director role.

At Rootstech 2019 in the leadership talks, there were a few grafts showing the cycle of leadership in the family history work.

On Number 2 - "Stake T&FH Consultant - Family History Center", that is the previous FHC Director. If a Stake has no FHCs, then there will not be a "Stake T&FH Consultant - Family History Center". If the stake has two FHCs (as does the stake I live in), then there will be a person for each FHC.
I do not know if there is such a calling as a "Stake T&FH Consultant", unless it takes the place of the "Stake T&FH Consultant - Family History Center" when there are no FHCs in the Stake.
Stake T&FH Lead -- I suspect this is the same as the Ward T&FH Lead, which in our ward is the 1st Counselor in the Elder's Quorum. In the case of the stake, I suspect it is the Stake High Counselor over Temple and Family History, or a member of the Stake Presidency.

By the way, this is not an official reply, but aside from the "Stake T&FH Consultant - Family History Center" being the former "FHC Director", which I checked in our ward's directory, so you'll still need to get more information.

Hopefully, you've looked at Handbook 2. There is a chart of callings that might be of some help. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/handbook-2-administering-the-church/callings-in-the-church/callings-in-the-church?lang=eng#title13
There is also some good information at https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/family-history-leadership-guide/support-and-accountability-for-my-calling?lang=eng

Unfortunately, some of the information is out of date, or appears to be out of date.

@Pani Bundy
.
The only GENERIC 'Callings' that I am aware of that actually currently exist in the various Membership systems are (as 'Tom' has already indicated):
.
Stake
.
Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant - Family History Centre
( formerly known as the "Director" of the "Family History Centre" )
.
Ward/Branch
.
Ward/Branch, Temple and Family History, Leader
.
Ward/Branch, Temple and Family History, Consultant
.
Unless, they have finally got around to adding OTHER necessary GENERIC 'Callings'.
.
I have not seen GENERIC "Callings' such as:
Stake, Temple and Family History, Lead
or
Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant
in any of the various Membership systems, of late.
.
As 'Tom' has already indicated, the "Lead" in a Stake is usually/generally a "High Councillor" in the Stake whose responsibility is "Temple and Family History" Work.
.
But ...
That said ...
.
That is NOT to say that a Stake has not Created/Added non-generic (User-Defined) 'Callings' such as "Stake, Temple and Family History, Lead"; and/or, "Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant", the problem/issue being that those created/added non-generic (User-Defined) 'Callings' will NOT have the "ACCESSES" ( ie. Access Levels ) that the "Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant - Family History Centre ( aka: "Director, Family History Centre" ); and/or, "Ward/Branch, Temple and Family History, Leader"; and/or, "Ward/Branch, Temple and Family History, Consultant", have.
.
For example, there is currently no corresponding Stake 'Calling' for the OLD "Director, Indexing" position.

Handbook 2 was updated in October 2019

In our stake it appears that there is only a Stake Temple and Family History Consultant who is over the Family History Center and the wards/branches family history/indexing as well. She has an Assistant Stake Temple and Family History Consultant to assist her.
Is this typical throughout the stakes now?

In our stake, my husband and I are Stake Temple and Family History Consultants - Family History Center. There are other Stake Temple and Family History Consultants called that are assigned to work with each unit in our stake (12 units) to assist the High Councilor over Family History. Many of them also serve in the Family History Center. The Stake Temple and Family History Consultants serve where assigned by the High Councilor as approved by the stake presidency.

Interestingly, the latest change(s) to Handbook 2 have eliminated the "Stake Temple and Family History Consultant - Family History Center" calling. See Handbook 2, Section 19.7 and you'll only see the single "Stake Temple and Family History Consultant" calling now (no more specific designated FHC calling). At the ward (branch) level, there are only two listed callings: "Ward Temple and Family History Consultant," and "Ward Temple and Family History Leader."
Definition/explanation for these callings is in Section 5.4.x of Handbook 2.
As noted by Tom Huber above, some of the information otherwise found on line is still being revised (i.e. some of it is out of date). I can find nothing (so far) that gives any current information about the person tasked with overseeing the Family History Center(s) in a stake. The Family History Center Guide is several years out of date and needs significant updating.
Hopefully we'll get more direction and clarification on 27 February 2020 in the Leadership Instruction broadcast.

@Watson, Shari Lillie
.
Not long ago, with a Stake Clerk, we looked through the various Church Membership systems (eg, including LCR; MLS; etc); and, the ONLY actual Stake 'Calling' in "Temple and Family History" Work was that of "Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant - Family History Centre" (who is 'Assigned' as the 'Director' of a "Family History Centre").
.
Has the Church NOW added another generic 'Calling' of "Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant" ( WITHOUT the "- Family History Centre" suffix) to the the various Church Membership systems (eg, including LCR; MLS; etc)?
.
Or, has your Stake create a User-Defined 'Calling' of "Stake, Temple and Family History, Consultant"?
.
If your Stake has created such a 'Calling', how do they have ANY Systems "Access" Level?
.
Because, as far as I am aware, such User-Defined 'Callings' would have NO Systems "Access" Levels!
.
Just curious.

.
ps: I am not talking what your Stake Leaders have 'Called' (tasked/assigned) these (Stake) Consultants to do, simply if/whether such generic a 'Calling' NOW exists in the various Church Membership systems (eg, including LCR; MLS; etc).

@Brett ., see my post just above yours, complete with links to Section 5.4.x (narrative descriptions and instructions) and 19.7 (Chart of Callings). I don't have clerk access currently, so I don't know how long ago "not long ago" was for you and your stake clerk, and perhaps the LCR, MLS, etc. have not yet quite caught up. But I do know for certain that the change in the Chart of Callings is a very recent change. I referred to it just weeks ago as I answered someone else (in a different forum, I think) on this same issue. And at that time it still had both a "regular" Stake T&FH Consultant calling listed, as well as the Stake T&FH Consultant - Family History Center calling. The FHC variety is no longer in the listing (Chart of Callings). And it does not appear to be in Section 5.4 either, though I can't recall specifically if it used to be in that section by name anyway. But for whatever reason, it's not listed in the Handbook any longer - just the overall Stake T&FH Consultant.
I just called my high councilor and asked him if I'm irrelevant 😂 and no longer responsible for the FHC. Thankfully, he said I'm still assigned as a T&FH Consultant ASSIGNED by the stake to the FHC, and that I have primary responsibility for the FHC and its staff. My wife and I love that calling.
In one sense it really doesn't make any significant difference about stake T&FH calling titles - or as one person told me once, it makes about as much difference to my eternal salvation as knowing whether the pearly gates swing or slide. The main work is in the wards and branches as ward T&FH consultants work one-on-one with individuals and families to bring their ancestors to the temples in order to fulfill the absolutely critical promise (and responsibility) of D&C 131:1-4. The two relevant stake callings (high councilor(s) assigned to T&FH work, and the stake T&FH consultant) are there for training purposes to help strengthen the work in the wards/branches where "the rubber meets the road." The only really important thing as far as exactness in calling titles is that if we aren't listed in the Membership system correctly, we lose whatever access we're supposed to have to resources. But since this forum is for "All Temple and Family History Consultants," it really isn't so critical. It's the Ward Temple and Family History Leader that has access to the monthly Family History Activity Report. We consultants no longer have access to it as of a few months ago. We just need to understand the intent of the structure through the Spirit, and follow the Brethren's direction (I can't wait for 27 February 2020!).
So going back up to the top of this thread to @Pani Bundy's original question, ONLY calling #1 (Stake Temple and Family History Consultant) is now an official calling at the stake level. Calling #2 (with the FHC suffix) is no longer listed in the official Handbook Chart of Callings, nor is the previously discontinued #3 stake "Lead" calling (that's been gone for about a year now). As a previous stake president of mine used to drill into everyone's head, "Read the Handbook!" That counsel has worked well for me for many, many years, thankfully, and seems to apply here quite nicely.

Brett, as far as I know, I have the same access as before except for the report. When I check on FamilySearch under my calling and then access - "Go to Network" I can see the Area Temple and Family History Consultants, Stake and Ward. If you are a Ward T&FHC, then you see your ward consultants and the ST&FHC. If you are a member only - no FH calling, then you see only the ward level.
