I notice you have not received an answer to your post. I don't know of anyone from the FamilySearch Community residing in Tonga. I do have a brother-in-law, Daniel Niu, who lives in Utah, but was born in Tonga. His daughter also served a Church mission there. I have sent him a message asking if he knows of someone in Tonga who is doing research. I will let you know the answer when I hear back from him.
In the meantime you may want to check out the following site: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Tonga_Genealogy
Hope I have helped a little bit.

Thank you Carol! I actually think I'm related to Daniel, if he is from Nukunuku, Tonga. I just created a group on Facebook for Tongan genealogy. I was hoping I can get help from people in Tonga and even here in the US to upload headstones to FindaGrave.com or the Facebook page. We don't have records available to the public, so headstones would be a start, A lot of our trees does not have sources, so that is another reason for headstone photos being uploaded to FindaGrave.com.

Hello,
What is your name? Do you live in the US or Tonga? Daniel (Taneilla Niu) was born in Nukunuku. They have taken a few trips to Tonga in the past 2 years. Our niece served a Mission there, but was re-assigned to the States due to COVID. Another niece adopted a little girl there last year. She spent over 6 months in Tonga while awaiting government approval. My sister-in-law, Claudia explained how the gravesites are in Tonga. They are usually a family plot with several generations buried in the same grave, so there are not headstones for each person. She is going to send me a picture of what she means. She would love to hear from you. She lives in Springville, Utah. Daniel works for BYU. I will send you a private e-mail with their e-mail and phone number.
Carol
