Help find and translate, please
Hi,
I think that I found my third great-grandparents marriage index (matrimoni) but I was unable to find the documents. Can some help with finding the documents and then translate them for me, please? Also, if you do find them can you explain to me why I was unable to find them, please? I would really appreciate it! 😊
It's for, Orazio Guarino and Maria Basile, the year is 1833, page 199. Also, there's a number 15 next to that.
I checked for pages 199 and 15 in the matrimoni records. I even checked the matrimoni, proccetti.
The following is Orazio's index:

And here's Maria's index:

Thank you very much! 😊

The marriage is #199, married 15 Dec (the 15 is in the column titled "date the marriage was celebrated in the church" and Dece is written after it). That number 199 is the record number, not page number. Each marriage record in this volume is four pages / three images - the first page is the right side of the first image, the next two pages are on the second image, and the fourth page is the left side of the third image. The record number is on the top of the first page, written out long hand (in this case, you want Num. d'ordine cento novantanove).
The first record in the volume is #136, starting on image 4. The last is #214, starting on image 163. So you have to hunt for the correct number. #199 starts on image 174: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua712279/02kGbnX
Promessa #199 dated 13 Dec 1833
Groom Orazio Guarino age 25 born in Bisacquino, forger, living on Vicolo delli Zingari, son of deceased Vincenzo and of deceased Concetta Faia
Bride Maria Basile, age 24, born in Palermo, living on Piazza del Carmine, son of Gaetano, age 56, locksmith/key maker, and of Antonina Romano, age 46
Right side: marriage celebrated 15 Dec at the church of the Albergaria (of which there are several, including Santissimo Crocifisso, Santa Chiara, San Giuseppe del Collegio di Maria al Carmine, Sant'Isidoro Agricola dei Fornai, San Nicolo, and San Saverio); my guess would be San Nicolo all'Albergheria since the bride was baptized there according to the extract in the processetti (I think the return copy of the promessa signed by the priest found at the end of the processetti also says San Nicolo but it's hard to say with 100% certainty). https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiesa_di_San_Nicol%C3%B2_all%27AlbergheriaNext image: notification posted 10 Nov on the door of the Santa Cristina registration office
Supporting documents (processetti):
1 - birth records of spouses
2 - notification that there was no opposition to the marriage
3 - death records of groom's ancestors
4 - consent of bride's parents
The remainder is the list of witnesses. Neither of the spouses could write, nor could three of the four witnesses; only witness Saverio Siragusa signed his name.Processetti start here: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua712060/w9Q7zJW
