Linked record source to CET tree first...

I linked a source record found in FamilySearch to a person in the CET tree. Then I tried to attach it to the public FamilySearch worldwide tree. It said I couldn't attached the record to the public worldwide tree because it was already attached to the person in the CET tree. I need to use the CET to do research. Then I want to be able to attach the same evidence as a source in the public worldwide familysearch tree. I have a screenshot.

Is the "someone else" your CET person or is it some other person in the FS Tree? Check the PID numbers.

The CET tree always has different PID numbers. Why wouldn't it? They are the same person, but have separate PID numbers because the CET tree is completely different.
