No Order or Sort in Albums in the New Memories

The "Reorder" function in Albums is NO longer available. (See the Help
Document below.) For me, the whole point of the Albums was so that I could Reorder the items and make it in a usable chronological sense for my family. Please bring the "Reorder" function back.

How do I change the order of the memories in an album?

You can display photos, stories, documents, and audio files in a specific order by putting them into an album in Memories.

Steps (website)

1. While signed in to FamilySearch, click Memories.
2. Click Gallery.
3. Click the album. 
4. At the top of the screen, beneath the album title, click Reorder. 
5. Drag and drop items to rearrange them.
6. Click Save.

Yes, the "Reorder" function is currently not available in the new Gallery Albums. It is listed in our Known Issues for the Gallery.

Others have asked for the return of this feature, as well. The engineers are aware. This function might be able to return in a future update. For now, we ask for patience.

Yes, the Help Articles are also behind in several updates. Hopefully, they will be updated soon.

One suggestion: If you are ever worried about the order of your Memories, a good practice might be to change the titles….Add titles that begin with years or numbered accordingly. This will allow you to use the Title Sort option.
