Analysis by a Developer, and by a long-time user
Developer: Used dev tools to look at it in different screen widths. Looks good. Mobile layout is good. Grows up to desktop reasonably. Remembers the shrunk settings in the widgets, which is good. Controls seem usable. Don't like the carousels. Too many design colors, which can be confusing.
Long Time User: I couldn't find the "Feedback" Button at first. It is laid vertically along the far left side of the screen after a large white field. This works on a smaller screen, but on a larger screen, I didn't find it till I was farther away from the computer.
I like having the search/view history front and center. The Ordinances Ready button still has the problem that it suggests ordinances that haven't had their previous ordinances done, particularly in regards to sealings, which we are told should have all parties' endowments done if those ordinance are available. I never use and have never used that button for this reason.
Functionally, I found that it's relatively simple, which is good, but I do agree that changing layouts on people can be frustrating. Fortunately most of the original functionality is retained in the original links at the top of the screen.

Appreciate the positive feedback @SarahNemelkaMansfield ! For the ordinances ready discussion please see this discussion post . We have noted the Search for an Ancestor request and the Recently Viewed section should address the recent history.

Just a follow-up @SarahNemelkaMansfield - the wording about the Feedback is changed and is located on the left hand side and there is no plan to move it. The "Search for an Ancestor " is now available with the 16 Dec release.
