Include a specific word or phrase not working now
I had used this before and it worked but now there seems to be a problem with it.
I searched "Camden District" for the state of NC and year 1700s. I get 44 results. When I add +Rogers in the keyword box, I get 8,091. It is probably zero results but I think when I added +Rogers, it eliminated "Camden District" and only gave results for Rogers.
Thank you

With Rogers in Keywords, Camden, North Carolina, in Place, and a range of 1699 to 1799, I get 63 results.
The year range is problematic, as many of the results are from outside that range.

If you want only those image transcripts with the phrase "Camden District" AND Rogers you need to have a plus symbol preceding both items. Because you only had a plus symbol for Rogers, the phrase is ignored and when Full Text Search scans the transcripts it hunts for the word - Rogers. [To see this in action, search again and remove the phrase, and I think you'll end up with the same 8091 results]
Image results for BOTH will only occur if you have a plus symbol preceding each item. How the filters impact your results list stays the same. In searching with plus symbols for both items [WITHOUT ANY FILTERS], I find 104 results, most from SOUTH Carolina in 1700s and early 1800s.
I'd echo previous response about using date range filters. They can be 'off'. I like to start with just the keyword and phrase combinations. Then adjust the keywords, and maybe tweak with a filter or two, slowly narrowing down the image results. In general, the filters can be helpful, but can also lead to 'missed' results
